Description: Super quality 15ct gold locket currently complete with rather distinguished looking gentleman, Albert Edward - Handily there's a dated inscription to the reverse and he's presented Jane with his portrait on a special occasion. I think I might try giving the missus a little picture of me to wear everywhere - I'll let you know how that goes. Almost certainly out of one of the good London jewellers.
Age: 1906 Edwardian, some Art Nouveau influences.
Size and weight: 15.5g 4.5cm to top of bail x 3.2cm
Materials: 15ct gold, enamel, pearl, glass, portrait miniature.
Condition: Very good, couple very tiny enamel losses but not noticeable unless scrutinised closely and not distracting enough to warrant repairing (there are all sorts of cold enamel type products that could invisibly repair, honestly, there's no point). Tiny surface scratches to the glass, again, not visible.
