Description: A curious and fun little object perfect for the cabinet or worn around the neck. It would have originally been worn on a chap's albert chain and he would have amazed and delighted his friends by whipping it out (the fob) and letting everyone know what the weather was doing! A late Victorian gadget!

Size and weight: 15.5g, 3.7cm drop inc bail, 2.8cm wide, 1.2cm back to front
Materials: 18ct gold, glass, brass and steel barometer parts etc
Condition: Good antique condition. We give no guarantee to the barometer working accurately or at all! Its slightly grubby inside and the bezel set glass turns round (and assumedly) and screws off - we've left as is but assuming this is the case then it would be possible to lightly clean and service the barometer.
