Description: Another "best of its type" piece (in our humble opinion!) This is the only one of these we've ever seen, as you can see the little key is held securely in place until such time as you need to open the lock. A fun, novelty piece that probably started out life on a bracelet but we think it would be great worn as a pendant.
Age:1969 Sheffield hallmark. It has a definite Victorian look and feel and the hand engraving is very typical of that period but if we're reading the hallmark correctly its a late piece.
Size and weight: 9.3g
Materials: 9ct gold, hallmarked.
Condition: Very good, differing patterns of wear and dirt from where the key has sat, this could all be polished up to new but we don't recommend that.
