Description: An unusually large example and nice and early, this fob is crisply carved with a raised scimitar and stars over initials in a shield alongside the motto "NEVER DESPAIR" which is a sentiment I think we can all get behind!
Age: c1800-1830 Georgian
Size and weight: 19.79g , base 3.3cm x 2.7cm, total height 5cm
Materials: Some type of semi-transparent agate, 9ct rose gold (the rim around the bottom appears to be all gold and tests as c9ct, the top section is a mix of the same material with some perhaps steel underneath.
Condition: Very good antique condition,
