Description: A fascinating and very early piece of hand made, devotional jewellery. We have perhaps a peahen or a bird of paradise atop an urn, gravestone or chimney stack!? Anyway, make of it what you will, its a really unusual (and very old) stickpin, ideal to wear or to sit in a cabinet of curiosities!
Age: c1770s Regency / Georgian
Size and weight: 3.88g 2.6cm x 1.3cm
Materials: 9ct rose gold, glass, other than that, Its hard to tell exactly what its all made from but there is certainly blue enamel, seed pearls, mother of pearl in there.
Condition: Very good condition commensurate with age. There doesn't seem to be any bits rattling around in there but bear in mind it is old, slightly faded and decrepit in places but in remarkably good shape really.
