Description: Beautifully simple and timeless devotional cross (and/or a wearable, pretty pendant). Citrine was used in jewellery as the stone of abundance as it was thought to attract wealth. Wouldn't that be handy!
Age: c1830-1860 The crimped collet settings are a typical Georgian feature but this method was used well beyond this. Georgian pieces of this sort are typically closed backed and foiled so this is likely a little later.
Size and weight: 4.3cm (including bale) x 3.5cm across 4.33g
Materials: 9ct gold, Citrine
Condition: Excellent
