Description: The sweetest little portrait miniature. He or she (its a bit hard to tell with Victorian miniatures but we're leaning towards she) has been so lovingly painted - its just a great, evocative heart warming little painting.

Materials: Portrait miniature, glass and pinchbeck locket (a lot of things get described as pinchbeck, a type of artificial gold, and really its hard to prove if something is or isn't, mostly because no one really knows how it was made! But we feel like this one is the real deal). So this has zero intrinsic value, its all about the lovely little portrait!
Condition: Good antique condition, it has been worn and fiddled with and loved (a lot!) and so the hand engraving to the reverse is worn in places. Tiny little chip at the bottom of glass - this shows up in the photos but isn't really visible. Portrait itself is very good.
