Description: Gorgeous Cleopatra pin in its original box. We've been unable to find anything out about Cavadaski so this could be fun to research!
Age: c1920s, Art Deco There was an earlier Egyptian revival period during Victoria's reign but this one dates to the period just after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922
Size and weight: 4.8g. 7.4cm top to bottom, 2.7cm wide
Materials: 18ct Gold, French assay mark, Enamel
Condition: Very good, the little wiggly line in front of her nose looks like something that happened in the firing of the enamel, ie its not a scratch and is much more pronounced in the pictures than real life. Pin slightly wavy. The original box is in 2 parts, has been crudely repaired (velvet is not original) but could be put back and in otherwise good shape. Important for provenance to keep these together.
