Description: Lava cameos are usually a bit down the pecking order when compared to hardstone and shell, just because its a softer, easier to carve, cheaper material, therefore lava cameos are often a bit dull. But this is the exception. An absolute work of art, the more you look at it, the more detail you see. A best of its type piece and undoubtedly carved by someone of renown, perhaps early in his career.
