Description: Look at this little guy! Really cute pin - flies were loaded with symbolism in Victorian times - the fly on the wall (or lapel in this case) sees everything but tells no-one! Flies were humble, everyday creatures, a reminder of spiritual humility and human mortality...and they just look cool!

Size and weight: 2.01g not inc box, bug 1.5cm
Materials: 9ct rose gold, almandine garnet curbuncle gem for his abdomen and a really, really nice little sapphire for his thorax. Tiny dot of white metal on his wings as well.
Condition: Very good, he would polish up a bit but we leave as we find. Nice old box included, the velvet is faded and worn a little.
