Description: Very pretty, very scarce authentic Georgian pendant with brooch fittings. Everything you like to see, crimped collet setting, foiled stones (not paste) balloon/bubble backs in gold and lovely condition. A devotional piece that would have been out of the reach of almost everyone when made.
Age: Georgian c1800
Size and weight: 5.7g. 3cm x 3.3cm to top of bail.
Materials: Gold, amethyst, citrine/smoky quartz, topaz. The outer stones are all quartz family, the centre, clear stone is something else, we think most likely topaz.
Condition: Very good. A tiny scratch to the reverse on the gold.
