Description: Lovely clean enamelling on this antique religious, hand made, engraved German bangle. It has a really nice little makers mark AP and a number 4, according to google, this could be for Pegau Nachf, Pforzheim and certainly a lot of jewellery was made in Pforzheim, perhaps you can find out more!
Age: c1850 Victorian, possibly earlier, the engraving has a mixture of Georgian and Victorian styles but it's hard to say for sure as we're not totally up on our German silver!
Size and weight: 19.6g, 13mm wide. internal diameter 55mm x 49mm (its a pleasing, square oval shape)
Materials: Silver, enamel
Condition: Good antique condition, its hollow and there is a tiny crease luckily only on the inside - we've tried to make this look as bad as possible in the picture. Around the clasp is a little scruffy and damaged but again, luckily nothing affecting the look when worn.
