Vanishingly Rare! Loves Me, Loves Me Not 15ct Gold Moving Charm Fob

It takes a bit of a knack to get it spinning but once you've got it then hours of fun ensue! Your options are: Loves me (yay!), loves me not (boo!), a little (its not a no...), indifferently (boo!), much (alright!), passion (now you're talking!). A fun bit of social history that shows people have always liked to be a bit silly! 

Age: c1880 Victorian novelty, there is a registration mark which might be fun to research.

Size and weight: 11.27g , front 2.3cm across 

Materials: Partially worn hallmarks for Birmingham but 15ct mark clearly visible, presumably non gold metal workings inside and the spinner is enamelled or painted.

Condition: Very good working condition. It is a little grubby inside - now you may well be able to open it up and/or clean the glass and the insides a little but we generally let sleeping dogs lie with things like this. Top jump ring appears original and is not soldered shut.
