Description: You do see these Victorian "swivel" locket brooches fairly commonly but this is the only one we've seen with this type of enamelled pictorial scene to the reverse. Its hand made and certainly one of a kind. It opens so that you can add your own photo, picture or keepsake and can be worn with either side facing out.
Age: c1870 Victorian
Size and weight: 21.02g 5cm x 5.5cm
Materials: 9ct Gold (some of the interior will be metal but this is not a "back and front" locket, the gold parts are solid gold. Glass etc
Condition: It has been worn and loved and therefore is in a good, usable but antique condition with some areas of slight wear and discoloration. We have not attempted to open it up.
