Description: Diminutive and pretty little fob originally from a gents albert chain (although the hardstone has not been engraved and the small size of this one may have meant it was a ladies) these make great pendants today!
Age: c1850 possibly a little earlier
Size and weight: 2.64g base 1.2cm x 1cm, total height 2.5cm
Materials: 9ct gold, metal, chalcedony. Its impossible to say exactly how much gold is in these things without destroying them.
Condition: when viewed under magnification is showing a little base metal on the top section where it has been worn against the skin or material, not visible to the naked eye, otherwise condition is very good.
