Description: Lovely early 20th century white gold and opal doublet earrings. The opals are alive with colour, green, blue, purple, orange and red, the rarest and most prized hue all against a black background. Doublets are thin slices of precious opal backed with either the host boulder or another material.
Screw-backs currently, could be easily converted for pierced ears.

Size and weight: 3.56g 4.5cm drop , opal 1.5cm x 1cm
Materials: Opal, 9ct white gold (screw backs are marked 9ct, rest is assumed to be the same but we have not verified whether they are a higher carat or platinum with x ray testing - details to follow)
Condition: Very good. The pictures show a little nibbling round the edges but they make it look a lot worse than it is, in real life, when worn they look perfect.
