Description: Quintessential arts and crafts jewel. We've had a couple of experts look at this and we are all in agreement that its by the Artificer's Guild, the bi-metal linkage pieces, 3 little ball triangles, use of gold and silver (and of course moonstones!) all point to them. There are pieces with similar handwriting attributed to Edward Spencer and further research may show him to be the designer. There is a gold monogram on the clasp but we've not been able to turn anything up regarding this. Its quite a phallic looking thing (well the bottom section anyway!) and the moonstones are closed backed, foiled and gorgeous (one is cracked, see below)

Materials: Silver, c 9ct gold knot sections and monogram on clasp, moonstone
Condition: Very good, nice antique patina, one of the round moonstones has a hairline crack and the foiled back is slightly amplifying the effect of this. It would be possible to replace or repair this but we don't think that's the thing to do.
