Reverse Carved "Essex Crystal" Intaglio Stock Stick Pin Of Horse and Jockey

Description: Nice, clean example of its type with a very well executed painting. Essex Crystal is a misnomer as you're probably aware but it's a good shorthand for those looking. The rock Crystal cabochon has been carefully carved and painted from behind to give a 3D effect. A great pin for any horse enthusiast!

Age: c1890 Late Victorian

Size and weight: 3.6g 6.3cm to tip of pin, 1.7cm across.

Materials: High carat gold (fineness TBC), pin part is 9ct, rock crystal
