Description: Very hard to find these type of lockets with a rock crystal cabochon - the vast majority are glass. Such a tactile little locket and a thing of real quality! Can be worn as a locket with a photo (which will be magnified by the crystal) or just as a very cool pendant. This would be very well suited as a memorial piece, turquoise represents forget-me-nots and pearls, tears.
Age: c 1890 Victorian
Size and weight: 6.3g, 3.5cm drop x 2cm wide.
Materials: High carat gold (exact fineness to follow but in 15ct range), rock crystal quartz, turquoise, seed pearl.
Condition: Very good, the bail is slightly worn internally where its rubbed against a fine chain. Not noticeable.
