Description: Such a sweet and frankly commercial subject. She looks like butter wouldn't melt...although she may have been an absolute horror, she has a bit of a glint in her eyes - who knows! Joking aside, its a very accomplished, precise painting which is set off beautifully by the surrounding frame.

Size and weight: 23g 6.5cm to top of bail x 4.4cm wide
Materials: Gold frame (front), gilt base metal (reverse and pin), portrait miniature
Condition: Good antique condition. The bottom of the portrait is a little smudged where perhaps a little water has got in, luckily, when viewing as a whole this is really hard to spot especially as the eye is drawn to her face. So its nothing to worry about but we have to mention it. The front portion and bail are gold, the reverse is gilt metal and the gilding is worn, this isn't usually seen of course.
