Description: This design is sometimes erroneously attributed to the famous Murrle Bennett & Co (given the MB initials and sumptuous art nouveau styling) We've also seen them sold as Omar Ramsden, the famous silversmith and again, you can see why. The MBO initials are actually for its original designer and they were presented to Dartford diploma students. Anyway, a great arts and crafts look! Can also be worn as a pendant.
Age: c1905
Size and weight: 9.6g. 3.4cm across.
Materials: Silver, chyrsophrase
Condition: Very good, commensurate with age. Could be polished to be like new (not recommended!). Brooch fitting slightly loose but this is part of its design and not due to any deterioration. Very wearable.
