Description: Very sweet and well made piece of Victorian pebble jewellery - this one is earlier than the usual things you see, mostly semi-mass produced brooches, and the thistle intaglio has been exquisitely carved so that you can even see the little veins on the leaves and the cross hatching on the thistle bud. We've collected, owned and sold thousands of pieces of Scottish jewellery and this is the only one of these we've seen.
