Description: The most fabulous quality piece. The workmanship, utilising subtly different hues of gold is out of this world. Very very difficult to do. The aquamarines in themselves are also top drawer, an exquisite piece of fine, antique jewellery. In later London retailer blue leather box.
Age: c1830, Late Georgian, William IV or early Victorian.
Size and weight: 16.1g. 7.5cm x 5cm
Materials: High carat gold, aquamarine.
Condition: Excellent, it started life as a pendant and it would be fairly easy to have a simple bail put back on as the 2 original little hinge tubes are present to take a pin. Possibly converted to a brooch later.
